Phase 1 commitment

Your shop should not vanish because the technology changes.

Main Street Live is a clickable prototype, not the eventual production marketplace. This plan describes the ownership and export gates required before payments, sellers, or live commerce are launched.

Company controls the keys

The company—not individual sellers or a platform reseller—must own the main domain, AWS account, Stripe Connect platform account, livestreaming provider account, email/notification accounts, analytics, Git repository, Apple/Google developer accounts, and administrative credentials.

Portable records, backed up

The production database and S3-compatible files need automated backups and documented exports. Sellers should be able to download their own practical business records without asking to recreate their shop.

A clear path to AWS

Production workloads can move to AWS-compatible hosting without making sellers rebuild storefronts. No separate MadeThis business should be created for each seller.

Data you can identify

Permanent records in production

The eventual marketplace will use permanent UUID-style identifiers for sellers, buyers, shops, products, inventory, shows, followers, orders, payments, payouts, reviews, chats, bids, shipping labels, support cases, policy actions, and appeals.

Exports will be designed for shop information, product listings, inventory, orders, eligible customer/follower records, reviews, support records, and other applicable seller data in useful machine-readable and human-readable formats.

Pre-production gates

  • • Verify source-code export and company repository access.
  • • Verify complete database export and restore procedures.
  • • Verify uploaded-file export from portable S3-compatible storage.
  • • Separate development, testing, and production environments before launch.
  • • Document backup, retention, and migration procedures before onboarding sellers.

The full Phase 1 plan

The source-controlled plan covers exports, infrastructure ownership, AWS migration, PWA sharing, native-app direction, and the safeguards that keep this prototype non-transactional. We do not claim any MadeThis export capability without verification.
